Collection 1_2 "IDENTITÉS" // An introspection

IDENTITÉS is a collection I created while trying to understand something personal.

Growing up between two cultures, I never fully felt like one thing.
There is beauty in that, but also confusion, and sometimes loneliness.

You grow up with richness, with history, with multiple worlds inside you.
But also with the feeling of not fully belonging anywhere.
Not here, not there. Just somewhere in between.

For a long time, I wished it was simpler.
One country. One identity. One place to call home.

But that’s not my reality.
And it’s not the reality for so many of us.

We are spread across places.
Living different lives, carrying the same roots in different ways.

This collection comes from that feeling.
That in-between space.
That question of who you are when you come from many places at once.

I’m still figuring it out.
Maybe that’s the point.

The 12 silhouettes reflect different states // strength, softness, tension, protection.
Not separate identities, but fragments of the same person.

Each piece is handcrafted in Paris using deadstock fabrics / materials that already existed, that carry their own past.
Reworking them felt natural. Like identity, nothing starts from zero.

My first collection was shot in Paris, the city where I was born.
This one was shot in Lebanon, where my roots are.

That alone makes this collection deeply meaningful to me.

This is for anyone who has ever felt too much of one thing, and not enough of another.

For those who exist in between.

These are garments for the unrooted, the re-rooted.
