100% Wool // on Natural Frequencies

100% Wool // on Natural Frequencies

Wool is one of the materials we come back to the most at CIN. Not just for how it looks, but for how it feels on the body.

It’s a natural fiber, and you can sense it immediately. It breathes, it adapts, it regulates temperature in a way that feels balanced and steady. There is a kind of quiet comfort to it — something that doesn’t overwhelm, but supports.

We are drawn to wool not only for its physical qualities, but also for something less visible. Natural fibers carry a different kind of energy. They are not inert. They interact with the body.

Wool, in particular, holds warmth in a very specific way. It doesn’t trap heat artificially, it works with your body’s own temperature. There is a natural exchange happening/ something subtle, but noticeable over time.

There are studies that suggest natural fibers like wool operate at a frequency closer to the human body, while synthetic materials tend to be lower. Whether you approach that scientifically or intuitively, the difference can be felt.

Wool feels grounding. It feels alive. It feels like something that belongs on the body.

We choose to work with 100% wool because it already carries what we are looking for. It doesn’t need to be transformed or engineered to perform. It already holds balance, durability, and presence.

Over time, it evolves. It softens, it adapts, it becomes more personal. It’s not something disposable. It’s something you live in.

At CIN, materials are never neutral. They shape the way a garment feels, moves, and exists.

Wool, for us, reflects a certain way of creating /one that is slower, more connected, and more aware of what we choose to put on our bodies.
